Minnesota Hemp Association Announces Joe Radinovich as Executive Director

Radinovich comes on board as MHA continues to see exponential member growth across the state

Minneapolis, MN (August 12, 2019) – The Minnesota Hemp Association, a 501(c)(4) trade organization representing farmers, processors, manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and service providers in or entering Minnesota’s booming hemp industry, today announced Joe Radinovich as its Executive Director.

“With the enormous growth we’re seeing throughout the industry and in our member ranks, we were looking for a leader who can help us maximize and build our collective power as an organization – both for our members and for consumers who have a growing demand for hemp products,” said Charlie Levine, Owner at Hemp Acres LLC and President of the Minnesota Hemp Association. “Joe is someone who can help us focus, build, and continue to grow and support the Minnesota hemp community.”

Radinovich was formerly a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives representing north-central Minnesota and campaign manager for Congressman Rick Nolan and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Radinovich served as Frey’s Chief of Staff before stepping down to run for the U.S. Congress for Minnesota’s 8th congressional district in 2018.

In his role as MHA Executive Director, he looks forward to a new challenge: “There’s a lot of energy and excitement in the hemp space,” said Radinovich. “The rapid innovation, attraction of new farmers, and an industry that’s flourishing makes it an exciting time to come on board and help MHA continue its growth.”

Radinovich will work with the Minnesota Hemp Association’s Board of Directors which includes:

Charlie Levine, Hemp Acres LLC, Board President

Alex Gerard, Budding Acres LLC, Board Vice President

Steven Brown, Nothing But Hemp, Board Treasurer

Parker Smith, Sweet Leaf Labs, Board Secretary
